CORPUS CHRISTI – Some images are unforgettable.
For me, there was no necessity of moments of delight and tragedy to constraint in 2014.
The photos that hang out a many among a hundreds that accompanied stories are those that best reflected a village and a people who live and die here each day.
Some, like a school’s dash day to acquire summer and a small lady perplexing out her family’s tent during Labonte Park, elicit a ignorance and consternation of childhood.
There were visits from politicians — Wendy Davis and Blake Farenthold — and mostly many chances to constraint folks in celebration.
While others — a demeanour of grief on a mom whose 2-year-old daughter was a plant of a drive-by sharpened — will be perpetually haunting.
Thank we for a respect of capturing a bit of it all.
