2nd Annual Jake’s Bad Boy Ride and BBQ date set

Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 is a date set for a 2nd Annual Jake’s Bad Boy BBQ and Ride. The bike and Jeep float will start during a Rushville Eagles #2036 (221 West 1st Street, Rushville) with registration commencement during 10 a.m. and kickstands adult during noon. Riders are $20 and any newcomer is $5. This price includes a meal. The Bad Boy BBQ will be hold during a New Salem Lions Club (4324 East US Hwy 52, Rushville) with portion from 5 to 8 p.m. The open is welcomed. A giveaway will concession will be collected for a meal. Net deduction from a float and BBQ will advantage a Jake McKee Heart of Gold Fund.

The Jake McKee Heart of Gold Fund was determined during a Rush Memorial Hospital Foundation by a McKee family in 2016 after a remarkable flitting of small Jake McKee from heart associated complications. The son of Niki and John McKee, Jake was a energetic 4-year-old that unexpected collapsed during his home and never regained consciousness.
