Business First reported progressing this week that Feast BBQ has set an open date for a NuLu location, Dec. 18, though we wanted to feast (ba-dum-ch) a eyes on a new site.

Our photographer, Tim Harris, went to a new plcae to check out a building’s post-metamorphosis look. The building, during 909 E. Market St., before housed a bakery and bureau space, though now all 4,000 block feet is grill space.

The space was totally renovated. A new kitchen was added; a electrical and plumbing were redone. Workers pulled down drywall to display section walls and combined a 25-foot art-deco-style bar.

“We only attempted to take it behind to a strange aspects of a building,” co-owner Ryan Rogers told Business First.

Check out a building’s new demeanour in a slideshow during right.

Feast BBQ’s hours in NuLu will be 11 a.m. to midnight Tuesday by Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. However, those could be changed.

Caitlin Bowling covers these beats: Restaurants, retail, tellurian resources, and women minority affairs.
