BBQ Duel: Mpls. Police And Fire Departments Set For Tasty Battle

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minneapolis military and glow departments are famous for operative together to offer and strengthen a community. But this Saturday, a departments will face off in a friendly, juicy battle.
Battle of a Badges will array a Minneapolis Fire Department opposite a Minneapolis Police Department to see who can make a best grill ribs.
The foe started 6 years ago and has incited into an eventuality a whole city can be unapproachable of. Just final year, 4,000 people were fed during a eventuality — though it’s not only about a food.
“There are football games that go on in and with this event, activities for immature folks to attend in,” Minneapolis Police Commander Gerald Moore said.

Minneapolis Fire Department’s Bryan Tyner says people have a event to learn about their positions.

Battle of a Badges occurs Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during North Commons Park.
