BBQ Fest Returns To Six Corners This Weekend: Here’s What You’ll Find There

CHICAGO — The Six Corners Shopping District will be overtaken by live music, games and plateau of beef for a seventh annual Six Corners BBQ Fest on Saturday and Sunday, one of nearly a dozen outside festivals set to close down streets around a city this weekend.
On tip of food and music, a eventuality will underline “giant grass games” like Jenga and Connect Four, and a 40-foot drum course with giveaway movement rentals, according to Six Corners Association executive Kelli Wefenstette.
Organizer Amie Zander describe a food offerings as “your favorite backyard grill foods,” including burgers, brats, sausages, prohibited dogs, duck and rib sandwiches.
Attendees will also find “Mexican fare, side dishes such as fries, cheese curds, honeyed corn, nachos, etc.” and “sweet treats like flue cakes, low boiled Oreos and Twinkies and even a low boiled PBJ sandwich,” Zander said.
The food vendors lined adult for a fest include:
• Suzie’s Fun Foods
• Fido to Go (dog treats, snacks and food for dogs)

The fest will run from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. The organisation is seeking for a $5 concession to attend; alternatively, a $15 sheet buys admission, dual beers and a “souvenir festival mug.”
