Bluegrass BBQ Smokehouse set to open in Reading

Independent restaurant, Bluegrass BBQ Smokehouse is entrance to Reading.

Following on from a success of a High Wycombe branch, a group skeleton to open adult a grill in Gun Street in Dec this year.

Bluegrass is famous for a ‘low and slow’ American character of barbecuing with ribs, burgers and duck a speciality.

Samantha Stimpson of Bluegrass BBQ Smokehouse said: “A lot of a business transport from distant divided to revisit us, and we’ve had strenuous requests to come here.

“We’ve always been large fans of Reading and adore a cool, eccentric vibe.

“Our building on Gun St, that sadly had depressed into disrepair, is ideal for us and a Bluegrass style; it’s also Grade 2 listed and so engaging in a design and blueprint – we are now operative tough to revive it to a former glory, exposing a pleasing beams and other featuresw hich sadly had been lonesome for years.”

The owner, Steve Brown, is ardent about good BBQ and has competed in The Jack Daniels Invitational BBQ Championships in Tennessee, one of usually a handful of Brits to ever do so.
