The best grill grill inside a Loop has closed, though don’t panic — it won’t be left for long. Gatlin’s BBQ revealed on a website that it sealed a plcae on 19th Street progressing this month.
“Due to a genuine estate growth along a 19th Street corridor, Gatlin’s BBQ will temporarily pierce to a mobile use section during 1717 W. 22nd Street starting a second week of March,” a summary adds. Owner Greg Gatlin tells a Chronicle that he had hoped to extend his franchise by a finish of March, though a landlord wants to get started on construction right away.
