Hutchinson Sets Inaugural Event In Fort Smith

Gov.-elect Asa Hutchinson will horde 4 informal “Red, White BBQ” events subsequent week as partial of his initial celebration, including one in Fort Smith.

The Fort Smith eventuality will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday during a Riverfront Pavilion, 100 N. B St.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased during, according to a news release.

Other parties are set for Monday night in Rogers, Wednesday night in Jonesboro and Thursday night in El Dorado.

Hutchinson, a Republican, will reinstate Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe, who could not find re-election since of tenure limits. Hutchinson degraded Democrat Mike Ross in November.
