Korean Style BBQ Cup opens during Central Market

Owner Lydia Kim pronounced her friends had been complimenting her cooking for years, and she finally motionless to take their recommendation and sell her food.
Kim pronounced a grill would have been too vast of an investment, though a food mount during the market during 34 W. Philadelphia St., York, was a ideal approach for her to burst into a grill business.
Though Kim is from Mountville, Lancaster County, she pronounced she opted to open a mount at Central Market in York rather than at Lancaster Central Market since York has a bustling lunch crowd and some-more chairs for customers.
Kim pronounced her dishes take somewhat traditional Korean transport and layer the food in an easy-to-carry cup. For example, a teriyaki duck cup has rice on a bottom, a covering of lettuce, vermicelli noodles, duck and vegetables on top.
If a food mount does well, Kim pronounced she might eventually open a full-sized restaurant.
Including a Korean barbecue, Central Market is adult to 23 dining options, according to a market’s website.
Tim Spangler, who runs Mezzogiorno at a market, pronounced he welcomes the new vendor.
“I consider it’s good for people to have accumulation and try stuff,” Spangler said.
Spangler pronounced he’s seen his share of food vendors come and go during his 6 years using the Italian eatery, though his customer base is on a upswing.
“Me personally, I’m saying a lot of new customers,” Spangler said.
Nancy Nicholson, who runs All About Brownies, pronounced a one blank square left during a marketplace is consistent foot traffic, something she pronounced will usually change as some-more jobs are combined downtown.
“During a week we consider we need lots of people walking downtown,” Nicholson said.
