The 19th annual New Jersey State Barbecue Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival will mix sizzling prohibited food and song Friday by Sunday Jul 7-9 during Second and Olde New Jersey avenues in North Wildwood.
In a State Barbecue Championship, an central subordinate eventuality for a World Food Championships, grill teams from around a nation will face off in a query to emanate a best grilled ribs, chicken, brisket and pork. Sunday, Jul 9 will underline live broadcasts by 98.7 The Coast noon-2 p.m. and SoJo 104.9 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Judging for a Barbecue Grand Championship — conducted by a Kansas City Barbeque Society and a row of proffer judges — begins during noon, and awards will presented 4:30 p.m. Live blues performances continue with Bev Conklin Blues 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and The BC Combo 1-4 p.m.
