Police: Texas Man Stole Barbecue, Torched House, Led Cops On Z06 Chase
April 16, 2015 - bbq set
This is a crime story out of Texas, though it’s so violent it’s officious Floridian in nature. A male in my hometown of San Antonio faces mixed transgression charges after cops contend he stole brisket from a grill joint, evaded military in a stolen truck, set a residence on fire, and transient in a stolen Corvette before he was held after he wrecked a sports car.
Did we discuss he’s indicted of swallowing heroin? He’s also indicted of swallowing heroin.
TV hire KSAT 12 has a scoopAlan Meneley, 34, who was arrested Sunday on charges that he stole brisket (the dedicated centerpiece of all Texas BBQ) from Augie’s Barbed Wire Smokehouse behind in February. Never been there though now we have to try it.
Authorities contend State Troopers found Meneley in a stolen truck, and he led them on a follow though managed to remove them. He afterwards set a residence on fire, military say, though they didn’t elaborate on whose residence it was or why.
From there Meneley stole a red Corvette Stingray automobile during gunpoint and led military on another chase, as one does in a Corvette, before he wrecked into a Mustang and was taken out of a game. He afterwards attempted to swallow some heroin during his detain and was taken to an area hospital, that he unsuccessfully also attempted to shun from, cops say.
Meneley might be connected to other brisket thefts in town.
