EATONTON — The 57th annual Putnam County Dairy Festival, that is hosted by a Pilot Club of Eatonton, is set for Saturday, Jun 4. The festival pays reverence to a county’s dairy industry.

Prior to Dairy Festival day, a manifestation to name a Queen of a Dairy Festival and her justice will be presented 7:30 p.m. May 14 during a Putnam County Middle School Little Theater.

The thesis for this year’s march is “Get More with Milk.” This year, dual money prizes for floats will be awarded. In further to a floats, a Al Sihah Shrine Club Parade Units, dignitaries, antique cars and a “whole bunch” of tractors will be present.

There will also be approval of a 2016 Dairy Farm Family, a Queen of a Dairy Festival and her court, Junior Miss Putnam County and her court, and internal and state officials. This will be followed by an afternoon of giveaway party featuring a series of internal entertainers.

The barbeque tent will be located on a dilemma of Madison Avenue and Marion Street with portion time using from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Barbeque and meal for this year will be prepared by Andy’s BBQ.
