Heads up, brisket lovers:

Dates for Aaron Franklin’s San Francisco pop-up were finally announced, and tickets go on-sale tomorrow morning (Friday, Apr 24) during 9 a.m. (Pacific Time).

As reported by Eater SF, Franklin will be will be in chateau for dual days in San Francisco’s Dogpatch ‘hood at Smokestack and Magnolia Brewing Company starting during 7 p.m. on May 9 and 10.

The Austin pit-master, who is nominated for a 2015 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest, will be on palm alongside Jordan Mackay, a SF-based food and booze author and co-author of Franklin’s new cookbook , “Franklin Barbecue: A Meat Smoking Manifesto.”

Considered by many to be one of a best grill joints in a country, Franklin’s evidence draws hours-long lines from devotees watchful to get a ambience of a brisket. It’s even Obama-endorsed.

Hopefully, for San Francisco fans a lines will be shorter —  though tickets will set we behind a whopping $130 a cocktail (!) and are singular to dual per chairman (21+). Included in a cost of admission: Two beers, a image of barbecue, dessert and a duplicate of Franklin’s new cookbook, and a intensity possibility to schmooze with Franklin and Mackay.

UPDATE:  What betrothed to be a ticket-buying frenzy for Franklin Barbecue’s S.F. pop-up did not disappoint. This morning, tickets sole out in small seconds. According to Eater SF, a cost was also sensitively lowered from $130  to $70 each. Whether this was in response to plaque startle snub or a pricing fluke, one can usually guess.
