Greater Longview United Way has teamed with Bear Creek Smokehouse in Marshall for a BBQ Cook Off Competition on Friday and Saturday to lift income to support a programs.
The eventuality Friday is set 6 to 10 p.m. during Bear Creek, 10857 Texas 154, and will be open to attendees 21 and older. The cooking teams will offer samples and alcoholic beverages while a Cody Wayne Band performs.
The eventuality Saturday is for all ages and is set 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Bear Creek. It will underline griddle tasting, along with washer and corn-hole tournaments and griddle judging. Scott Hampton with David Allen and The Drifting Outlaws are set to perform.
Tickets are $20 for adults and cover both days. Admission is $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and giveaway for those younger than 5. Advance tickets are accessible during www.longviewunitedway.org or during a gate.
