Waldo’s ramen bar, Plaza’s Eddie V’s, stretched Plowboys BBQ set opening dates

Longtime restaurateurs Andy Lock and Domhnall Molloy have comparison a name and opening date for their new Waldo ramen restaurant.

Bōru Ramen Bar is scheduled to open in mid-December during 500 W. 75th St., now home to their Summit Grill Bar Waldo. The partners had a successful run charity ramen nights during a grill progressing this year and motionless to enhance it to a full-time operation. Their culinary executive Po Wang is formulating a menu for Bōru.

Summit Grill Bar Waldo will tighten in a 3,300-square-foot space and free in a 8,800-square-foot former 75th Street Brewery space, during 520 W. 75th St., in mid-November. It will have a private dining room seating adult to 54 people and a grill is now holding reservations for a holiday season.

The 75th Street Brewery space is now underneath restoration and a brewery apparatus has been removed.

Lock and Molloy are employing 30 people for Bōru and 15 some-more employees for a stretched Summit Grill Bar Waldo.

They also possess Summit Grill Bar and Third Street Social in Lee’s Summit.

▪ Eddie V’s Prime Seafood plans an Oct. 24 opening during 700 W. 47th St., Suite 115 (former Ruth’s Chris Steak House space) by a Country Club Plaza.

Hours will be 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday by Thursday, and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It also will have happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily.

▪ Plowboys Barbeque hopes to open during 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19 in the new and most incomparable Town Pavilion space during 1111 Main St., Suite 120, and it will supplement cooking use on Nov. 3. It now operates in Suite 115.
